WCT offers four academic scholarships – two $500 scholarships for students pursuing degrees in the Performing Arts, and two $250 scholarships for students majoring in other programs while remaining active in the Arts.

The application period runs from February 1, 2025 to April 1, 2025. Applicants will be notified after all submissions are received and the committee makes their final selections.

$500 Scholarship Application – 

Requirements

• Must have participated in at least one WCT production (cast or crew).

• Must be enrolled in or entering (Fall 2025) a two year or four year institution with an emphasis in the
  performing arts, including but not limited to acting, arts education, dance, music, performance, theatre arts, design/technology, writing/editing.

• An individual student may receive a maximum of three- 1 year separate scholarships from WCT. This is not

  an automatic scholarship and must be applied to each year.

• In a few sentences, please answer the following question- “What has been your favorite role or experience

  during a WCT show?”

$250 Scholarship Application –

Requirements

• Must have participated in at least one WCT production (cast or crew).

• Must be enrolled in or entering (Fall 2025) a two year or four-year institution and continue to participate in at least one performance/production annually while attending.

• An individual student may receive a maximum of three- 1 year separate scholarships from WCT. This is not

  an automatic scholarship and must be applied to each year.

• In a few sentences, please answer the following question- “What has been your most memorable

  experience in Weston Community Theatre?”
